We are looking to hire a Launch Engineer to join our team at San Luis Potosi.
What you can look forward as Launch Engineer:
• Internal reporting and escalation: reports and escalates to program manager and Hiring Manager.
• Coordinates the tasks for the launch phase of the plant’s involved departments (Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing, Production, Purchasing)
• Monitors and coordinates the plant related tasks within the plant under consideration of the overall project scope.
• Shares know how in launch phase from the plant with the project team.
• Reports status and measures both to PM and within the defined Plant Communication structure to ensure clear awareness of Plant project deliverables, gaps and necessary actions in launch phase.
• Supports risk assessment in regards to plant schedules, plant resources, cost and timelines given from the project management.
• Ensure pre-series builds in launch phase
• Ensure production readiness for pre-series and SOP according the project planning.
• Coordination of different running projects and project tasks between the plant and the related program managers / project teams (purchasing, quality, manufacturing, and so on)
Your Profiles as Launch Engineer:
• Proficient English is a must (this position will be traveling up to 50% of time to local and international facilities)
• 5 years if experience within automotive environment
• 2 years of experience as Launch engineer is a must
• Background in manufacture is a must
• Experience with microsoft project
• Nice to Have Autocad
• MS office proficient (excel proficient)
• Nice to have experience with BMW and Stellantis (in New Launches)
