+ Leadership experience in Chemical Plant Operations + Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions + Knowledge of 5S and other Lean tools + Knowledge of PSM, environmental and other regulatory requirements **Job Title:Process/Project Engineer** **Location: Baton Rouge, LA** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Project management including development of bid packages, review of drawings, oversight of contractors, budgeting, and scheduling. + Development of individual project requirements (Scope of Work) based on input for local and corporate requirements, potential cost savings, increased uptime, etc. + Development of material and energy balances, sizing and specification of equipment, piping, and valves as related to existing processes and new projects. + Leadership of commissioning activities related to new installations. + Teamwork with local production and maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting of technical issues of existing processes, often with some insight necessary from other locations.
