Mission of the Role:

At the Hiroshima Plant, which manufactures electronic components for automobiles (center displays, speedometers, etc.)

1) Product quality activities before/after mass production

2) Implementation of quality control for new products and new processes

3) Customer support (approval acquisition/audit)

 

Key Objectives of this Role:

1) Quality development activities before/after mass production

・Setting important management characteristics and establishing quality control methods

・Activities related to quality development

・Initial flow management planning, implementation, and follow-up

・Identify abnormal quality in a timely manner and lead the cause investigation and countermeasure implementation.

2) Customer support for new startups and quality improvement activities

・Submit and obtain approval of customer request documents such as APQP, PPAP, change requests, etc.

・Conduct regular/irregular customer meetings

3) Lead countermeasures/improvement measures for customer quality issues

・Temporary response when a problem occurs

・Identification of the cause of defects (5why, FTA, QC tools, etc.)

・Confirmation of validity and effectiveness of permanent measures

・Monthly report

 

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

Required

・Experience in factory quality control department in the automobile industry

・Knowledge of IATF/ISO9001 and work experience in accordance with the system

・Business level of Japanese and English

Preferred

・Experience launching new products at an automobile-related company

・IATF16949 internal audit qualification

・Experience in supplier quality improvement activities

・Overseas work experience
