Process & Reconciliation Specialist

Aplin has partnered with a Halifax, NS company to hire a Process and Reconciliation Specialist! You will support parking and curbside operations at a major transportation hub. This role involves financial reconciliation, data analysis, and customer service while ensuring smooth operations across multiple parking and ground transportation services.

Benefits & Perks:Compensation: Base Salary $86,351 after one year increase to $92,424.Please note, this role will be fully on-site at the Client's Halifax, NS office. This is a permanent opportunity with 3 Weeks’ Vacation + Health & Dental Benefits + RRSPMonday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week) + Free parkingResponsibilitiesReconcile financial transactions, validate refundsSupport in the development of budgeting, forecasting, and accruals Create billing reports for parking servicesCollect and report relevant information for variance reporting Manage employee parking passes and customer inquiriesSupport curbside operations, including licensing and vehicle inspectionsTrack data trends and analyze reports for operational improvementsWork closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless serviceQualificationsMust have Post-Secondary Education in Accounting or Finance.5+ years of accounting/reconciliation experience (Oracle experience is a plus!)Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)Excellent problem-solving & communication skillsAbility to work independently and handle changing prioritiesCustomer service mindset with attention to detail
