Title: Process Safety Engineer

Focus: The Process Safety Engineer is responsible for supporting the plant in development and implementation of regulatory, Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP), and industry best practices into operations. This position is a member of the Epoxy 1 and 2 staff and is responsible for collaborating across disciplines, departments, and locations to ensure implementation of process safety fundamentals.
Process Safety Engineer Essential Job Functions:
Process Safety Engineer Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree* in Engineering; Chemical Engineering degree preferred. Minimum of 4 years of chemical industry experience, Process Safety Management, or similar process safety function. Experience with plant improvement project implementation and leading process hazard analysis (PHA) reviews. Functional knowledge of consequence modeling, PSM and RMP program development, quantitative risk analysis, fault-tree analysis, SIL/Sis, and relief systems preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA's PSM Regulations, 29 CFR 1910 and EPA's RMP Regulation, 40 CFR 68 preferred. Professional certification/ registration preferred. Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred. Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
