We count on you for:

Serve as the subject matter expert for process safety management (PSM), PHA-Pro / Stature, and Management of Change and policy procedure software Keep appraised of Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices and other best practices within the field of PSM Facilitate Management of Change activities in the manufacturing processes and with Personnel changes Organize and Conduct PSM internal audits and prepare for external audits and inspections to ensure programs and documentation satisfy regulatory requirements Conduct PSM accident investigations – Drive corrective actions to timely completion Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses and Layer of Protection Analyses to meet both internal and external regulatory requirements - Drive recommendations to timely completion Maintain site PSM Scorecard activities - Monitor the application of the PSM key performance indicators, ensure compliance and interpret and report results Consult with plant HSE, Maintenance and Operations personnel to respond to their PSM concerns.  Assist in addressing Safety Instrumented System documentation and supporting Safety Integrity Level scenario analysis as well as provide oversight for Pre-Startup Safety Reviews Participate in the Syensqo North America HSE Network– such as corporate PSM audits

You will bring:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Hazard Analysis and Management of Change Programs PSM and VPP (OSHA Voluntary Protection Program) experience in a manufacturing site is a plus. Polymers manufacturing experience preferred. Good understanding of internal and external audit procedures and incident investigation techniques  Strong ability to establish written procedures needed to implement process safety regulations  Flexibility and ability to deal with, and drive, change Effective written and verbal communication skills Impact and Influence - Ability to produce results on own and through others 

 

 

You will get:

Competitive salary and benefits package The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $108,000 to $135,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives. 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations Training platform for all employees Free language courses (24 languages available) Free well-being sessions (physical and psychological)
