Job SummaryLeads, monitors and coordinates technical support of assigned work area, which includes assisting others with production problems, providing work instruction, training and communicating effectively with team to ensure quality parts are being produced.

ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with Production Supervisor and Trainer to ensure production needs are met.Responsible for setting-up and running machines.Responsible for supporting production output.Supports Continuous Improvement efforts.Monitors equipment for preventative maintenance.Work with Engineering to develop fixtures and select tooling required to manufacture parts.Work with Engineering to prove out CNC programs for machine tools.Provide technical assistance to Engineering to improve process robustness, cycle times, throughput, ergonomic and safety elements as assigned.KnowledgeKnowledge of Advanced CNC machine principles.Experience & Skills5 years of machining and/or manufacturing experience, preferred.Experience with reading blueprints, Engineering drawings and specifications.Has a strong mechanical aptitude and Attention to detail.Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively to co-workers.Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships.Is a self-starter and has the drive to take on responsibilities and challenges.Ability to meet deadlines.Good communication skills to interact with other departments and outside firms.EducationHigh School (High school diploma) education or GED completion, requiredCompetenciesEnsuring Accountability
