Summary

Setup, monitor, adjust, and perform routine service to production equipment and processes to maintain overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) standards.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set-up and inspect equipment and related components for proper operation. Prepare equipment for sanitation. Perform specific duties during production hours such as lubrication, cleaning, changeovers, adjustments, blade replacement, etc. Observe/adjust equipment for proper operation during production and/or report problems to management. Perform preventative maintenance on weekends and assist in equipment modifications or rebuilds to insure they are capable of performing required production functions. Must maintain occurrence level at no greater than three (3) occurrences and cannot have more than two (2) disciplinary issues on file. Maintain work and production area during production and on weekends as needed. Adhere to all safety requirements including preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Minimum Education

High School or equivalent

Experience Requirements

Reading, writing and analytical skills are required. Must have all personal tools at all times and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Exposure to temperatures ranging from 40 - 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Noise levels ranging from 85 - 88 dB. Exposure to iodine at hand washing station Light intensity above 50' candles Ability to lift 80 lbs. Ability to move throughout the department
