Job Title: Process Tech/Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Process Tech/Supervisor with extensive experience in the automotive industry. This role involves overseeing the production floor, managing mold changes, performing light maintenance, and supervising a team. The ideal candidate will be strong in plastic injection molding and the ability to troubleshoot and process parts efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesPerform mold changes (1-3 per day) and prepare molds for productionManage the production floor and ensure smooth operationsConduct light maintenance, such as fixing hydraulic leaks or broken water linesProcess parts and troubleshoot any issues that ariseSupervise and lead the team, including performance management and disciplinary actions if necessaryFill out end-of-shift paperwork, including scrap and production numbersEssential Skills5 years or more of recent plastic injection mold experience2 years of recent management experience, leading a team of 3 or moreAbility to conduct mold changes (1100 - 2200 tons)Proficiency in navigating through Excel and WordMechanically inclined with the ability to fix a water lineAdditional Skills & QualificationsStrong leadership and management skillsExperience in processing and troubleshooting plastic partsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesJob Type & Location

This is a direct-hire position based out of STERLING HEIGHTS, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $75000.00/yr.
