**Job Title: Process Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Process Technician to join our team on either the 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm, Monday to Friday) or the 3rd shift (11pm - 7am, Sunday to Thursday). The role may require occasional overtime and working Saturdays once a month as needed. The Extrusion Process Technician will provide advanced support during our extrusion molding processes, monitoring multiple machinery, troubleshooting production lines, and proactively identifying potential manufacturing issues. You will work closely with operations and engineering leadership to address systemic manufacturing challenges and ensure efficient production. **Responsibilities** + Start, operate, and troubleshoot key production components including extruder hot runner systems, chiller and termolater controls, automated paper wrappers, automated cutters, and automated packing prep. + Proactively identify and address production lines that are at risk of error or incident. + Provide root cause analysis and advise leadership on preventable systemic manufacturing issues. + Troubleshoot multiple mechanical elements of plastic extruder production lines. + Perform initial startup of plastic extruder production lines. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Plastic extrusion machine operation + Injection molding + Plastic extrusion processes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with extruder hot runner systems, chiller and termolater controls, automated paper wrappers, automated cutters, and automated packing prep. + Ability to identify and address potential errors or incidents in production lines. + Strong root cause analysis skills to advise on manufacturing issues. + Mechanical troubleshooting skills for plastic extruder production lines. + Capability to perform initial startup of plastic extruder production lines. **Why Work Here?** Join a clean, well-organized, and large facility that has recently expanded to accommodate growth.
