Process Technician
**Job Title: Process Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Process Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating 300-ton Arburg injection mold machines. You will adjust and monitor pressure, feed rates, and temperatures, and perform quality inspections to ensure products meet high standards for flash, shorts, and deformations. Your work will contribute to the on-time completion, quality, and cost targets associated with the implementation of new injection mold machine setups and operations. Additionally, you will create procedures, work instructions, and protocols as required, and work on improving productivity and reducing scrap/reject rates through automation, tool/process improvements, effective training of production personnel, and process enhancements. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate 300-ton Arburg injection mold machines. + Adjust and monitor pressure, feed rates, and temperatures. + Perform quality inspections for flash, shorts, and deformations. + Meet on-time completion, quality, and cost targets for new injection mold machine setups and operations. + Create procedures, work instructions, and protocols. + Improve productivity and reduce scrap/reject rates through automation, tool/process improvements, and effective training. + Thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven, lean systems environment. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of manufacturing experience operating or setting up plastic injection mold machines. + Knowledge of plastic materials and various poly's. + Ability to change molds and set up proper feed, pressure, and temperature. + Experience in load material and monitoring processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with injection mold setup and troubleshooting. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. **Why Work Here?** We offer a generous vacation policy with increasing days off based on years of service, an onsite cafe for lunch **Work Environment** 1st shift 7am - 3:30 pm **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
