Process Technician Details:

Temp-to-Hire position$26.88 to $30.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredThird ShiftKey Responsibilities: Troubleshooting Expertise: Address and resolve issues related to vacuum forming, adhesive spraying, injection molding processes, and associated equipment.Documentation & Communication: Maintain and share detailed records with Process Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, and Shift Supervisors, highlighting any deviations from established methods.Process Documentation: Keep up-to-date documentation for process equipment.Process Control Management: Utilize DartNet system tools to manage injection molding process controls.Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards set by the quality department.Maintenance Monitoring: Oversee the Maintenance Technician mold change program and verify first shot checks by Operators to ensure quality parts.Training Support: Assist Production Supervisors in training associates on line operation and process controls.Systematic Monitoring: Regularly check all variables to maintain the best balance of quality and quantity under varying conditions.Preventative Maintenance: Schedule routine and preventative maintenance to minimize disruption to production schedules.Continuous Improvement: Analyze operations for potential improvements in methods, procedures, or design.DOEs and launch samples as needed.Adherence to Standards: Understand and comply with all function-related Quality, EHS, Product Safety, Compliance, and IT/Information Security requirements

Process Technician Qualifications:

High School Graduate or equivalent. Area of study: emphasis on mathematics, and mechanical or similar.3-5 minimum years of experience completing mold changes.1-3 minimum years of experience as plastic process technician.3-5 minimum years of experience within the automotive industry.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
