Process Technician
**Job Title: Process Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Process Technician who has a comprehensive understanding of all set-up procedures and molding machine functions. The ideal candidate will be adept at setting up, starting, and troubleshooting presses using established process control methods, as well as handling both straightforward and complex molds. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting secondary equipment, monitoring press cycles, initiating corrective actions, and performing material handling duties. **Responsibilities** + Set up, start, and troubleshoot presses using established process control methods. + Handle both straightforward open and closed molds, as well as complex molds with multiple core pulls, auxiliary hydraulics, and manifolds. + Set up and troubleshoot secondary equipment. + Monitor press cycles to ensure they are running to routing standards. + Initiate corrective actions for jobs running out of standard cycle. + Set limit switches, timers, and process controls on presses. + Pull and clean screws and barrels. + Complete accurate IQ transactions using the IQMS system. + Change end of arm tooling and load robot programs into presses. + Perform basic robotic troubleshooting on end of arm tooling. + Measure parts at start-up and perform periodic inspection rounds as needed. + Understand the fundamentals of RJG technology via e-dart control. + Relocate material and parts to the warehouse using hand carts and forklifts. + Perform material handling duties in a back-up capacity as required. + Return shop packets and other related materials to the production office upon job completion. + Complete cleanup duties and return supplies to their proper locations. + Run presses as needed. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of production and processing techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. + Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. + Mechanical knowledge, including the design, use, repair, and maintenance of machines and tools. + Hands-on experience using measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. + Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) procedures and applications. + Experience using computer software products, including MS Excel and MS Word. + Proficiency in mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or 5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Why Work Here?** Join our team to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
