**Job Title: Process Technician** **Job Description** Join our Noblesville team, specializing in single-use medical devices, as a Process Technician. You'll be essential in our plastics extrusion and molding division, responsible for machine setup, parameter configuration, changeovers, and documenting setups. Your role includes troubleshooting and resolving process issues, performing routine maintenance, adhering to production schedules, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. You'll also diagnose minor problems, provide technical support on projects, and conduct research to reduce defects. This hands-on role requires climbing onto machines, lifting over 50 pounds, and using an overhead crane for mold replacements. Your objective is to maintain machine quality, cleanliness, and efficiency in a collaborative environment under the plastics supervisor's guidance. **Responsibilities** + Configure machines, perform changeovers, and document setups + Provide operator support and resolve issues + Analyze and fix process problems + Perform routine maintenance and adhere to production schedules + Ensure safety protocols are followed + Diagnose minor problems and offer technical support on projects + Conduct research to minimize defects + Maintain machine quality, cleanliness, and efficiency **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand tools. + Experience with overhead cranes. + Proficient in process documentation. + Knowledge of pneumatic systems. + Ability to work well within a team. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and support skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior process technician/mold setting experience. + Medical history due to specific field requirements. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a unique opportunity to delve into the world of medical device manufacturing from a plastics perspective. You'll be part of a collaborative team that includes other technicians and engineers. This clean environment requires compliance with FDA guidelines, including gowning procedures before entering the plant. The facility features a café and office space, though your primary workspace will be on the floor with the machines. You'll be supporting one of the three extrusion and molding machines during your shift, among a total of 16 machines.
