Job DescriptionThe Process Technician will be responsible for overseeing the injection mold process, including mold repair and troubleshooting on injection mold machinery with clamp forces ranging from 420 tons to 1,600 tons. The role involves ensuring proper mold change outs, managing start-ups, shut-downs, and set-ups, overseeing cycle times and adjustments, and conducting preventative maintenance on molds and tooling.
ResponsibilitiesOversee injection mold process and ensure proper mold change outs.Perform mold repair and troubleshooting on injection mold machinery.Manage start-ups, shut-downs, and set-ups of machinery.Ensure the first few runs after mold changes are correct.Monitor and adjust cycle times as needed.Oversee preventative maintenance on molds, including creating PM schedules and using a CMMS.Work with robots, overseeing touchpoints and editing programs as needed.Operate remote-controlled overhead cranes.Handle hydraulic hoses and tooling of machines.Document processes and maintenance on computers.Disassemble, reassemble, and clean tooling as needed.Why Work Here?Uniforms are provided, and you will be working with all new equipment and machinery. The pay range for this position is $18.79 - $26.41
