Process Technician
Job Title: Process TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to perform semiconductor wafer processing tasks in photolithography, etching, thin films, and metals deposition with precision and repeatability. The successful candidate will handle semiconductor wafers and small opto-electronic components, record process data, and collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine processing techniques. This role requires maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance with industry standards and company policies. Responsibilities + Perform semiconductor wafer processing tasks in photolithography, etching, thin films, and metals deposition with precision and repeatability. + Handle semiconductor wafers and small opto-electronic components. + Record process data and equipment logs to identify trends, diagnose process issues, and support implementation of corrective actions to improve yield, quality, and throughput. + Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine processing techniques, tool recipes, and maintenance schedules for new and existing products. + Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with industry standards and company policies. Essential Skills + Experience in semiconductor wafer processing, including photolithography, etching, thin films, and metals deposition. + Proficiency in handling small, sensitive optoelectronic components. + Ability to follow process instructions with minimal supervision. + Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate's degree in Electronics, Physics, Material Science, or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. + A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor processing environment, with experience handling delicate optoelectronic components preferred. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. + Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality and safety. + Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as needed. Work Environment The company is growing at a very fast rate, providing a dynamic work environment. The role requires working in a cleanroom environment and following strict industry and company safety standards. The position involves using advanced semiconductor processing equipment and collaborating closely with engineering teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
