Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description

The Section Supervisor coordinates the machine operations in the assigned section to ensure that proper operating and safety procedures are being followed in order to promote the company’s goal of producing a quality product in a safe and efficient manner. The Section Supervisor is also responsible for the direct supervision of assigned production personnel and in working with them to identify their strengths and weaknesses so that they can be assigned tasks suited to their skill levels and advanced within the system.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate controlled except for areas right next to the machines where it can get warm. It is fairly loud due to the machines, but ear plugs and PPE are provided. Duties are performed indoors throughout the general production area. The employee must be able to move throughout the production floor to required workstations. Occasionally, the employee will need to move, transport, position, or install objects, ascend or descend onto machines, retrieve objects from floor level, and perform tasks at or above shoulder level. The employee will also need to work with minute objects, inspect equipment, identify and distinguish colors, determine distances and spatial relationships, access file cabinets, and operate office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, computer printer, and phone. Frequent communication with others for various production needs is required, and the employee must be able to exchange accurate information.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grandview, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Critical Illness, Critical Accident, etc. as outlined in the hourly handbook. Coverage will begin on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.
Mission Plastics North understands the need to assist associates in saving for their retirement future and offers a Profit-Sharing Plan that has provided 0% to 15% annually in years past. After completing a year of service, there are two entry dates in which to become a participant in the Profit-Sharing Plan- on June 1st or December 1st. Based on a 1/22/2024 hire date, you would be eligible to begin participating in the Profit-Sharing Plan on the June 1st, 2025 entry date. In addition, you will be eligible to participate in the 401K plan as of the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.
