Description

Responsible for completing daily operations of injection molding equipment and tools in accordance with division standard operating procedures to ensure quality and production goals are achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•\tSupport process and other activities consistent with departmental expectations and goals.

•\tPerform tool changes in accordance with the production schedule

•\tSupport the building and maintaining of End of Arm tooling, part placement nests and degate fixtures.

•\tSupport machine process, develop skill set which will allow you to make adjustments within process tolerance and recommend any changes for improved efficiencies.

•\tContinually monitor all processes related to injection molding.

•\tAnalyze and resolve any processing problems.

•\tSupport Molding Process Engineer in resolving any product non-conformity issues that may arise.

•\tSet-up and start-up of new tools and resins for trial.

•\tConform to the implementation of continuous process improvement in the molding department.

•\tAdhere to safe lifting practices as outlined in the Systems Safety Manual.

•\tExhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.

•\tDemonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.

•\tFollow Company policies and display conduct expected of our employees as described in the employee handbook.

•\tFollow safety rules of the Company and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

•\tMinimum 2 year of related experience in injection molding, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment (as a process tech)

•\tMust have experience processing plastics and setting tools

**This candidate would be mold setting and process tech, must be comfortable with both parts of the job

•\tKnowledge of automation systems and controls

•\tExperience in fabrication( i.e. fixture building, making water lines)

•\tMinimum 2 years of ISO/TS16949 experience; and knowledge of ISO14001

•\tDemonstrated oral and written communication skills, as well as, strong organization skills

•\tStrong computer skills

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
