Process Technician Interns are responsible for maintaining tactical activities that support production line flow. PT's will work collaboratively with area engineering teams to maintain quality systems and deliver low product cycle time. During your three-month internship you will receive training on safety and fab software systems as well as on the job training within a process area. Internship training will be focused on one of the three responsibilities below allowing time to learn and perform during your internship.
Responsibilities:
• Complete equipment related tasks to improve availability. Examples of tasks include monitoring and updating equipment tracking status, running qualification tests to bring up tools post maintenance, coordinating development tool times, and troubleshooting automation issues.
• Handling area product priorities and lot holds. Examples of tasks include ensuring tools & processes are ready for incoming priority material, updating lot comments for delayed priorities, managing queue time ordering, and working with engineering to address lot level holds.
• Addressing process issues blocking product from running. Examples of tasks include investigating out of spec process quals, performing lot targeting, running product with Special Work Requests (SWR) attached, and performing area development tasks to qualify new processes.
• Safety and Documentation (required for all interns): Complete required safety training and adhere to safety procedures. Participate in a fab safety audit with your mentor. Participate in the company’s good catch program by identifying and addressing one safety concern. Participate in on Periodic Document Review (PDR) with are technician to update a procedure or Best-Known Method (BKM).
Minimum Qualifications:
• Pursuing an Associates (SMT, Mechatronics, Cyber Security) or Bachelors degree (Business Operations
• Willing to relocate to Boise Idaho area to complete 3-month process technician internship.
• Willing to relocate to Boise Idaho area post-graduation if offered full time employment after internship
• Sophisticated PC skills with MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint experience
• Ability to tackle intermediate problems and identify and resolve root causes
• Ability to follow basic procedures, work independently, must have good written/verbal communication skills, and work well in a collaborative team environment.
