Key Responsibilities:
Operate Melt Infiltration (MI) system including vacuum pumps, vacuum chambers, ovens, mixers, etc.Load/unload MI systems with numerous parts per documented configurationUse instruments and techniques to prepare the required mixtures and slurries for MI process per documented configurationsMaintain accurate inventories of chemicals and other materials utilized in the MI processPerform regular maintenance and cleaning of the MI systems and provide support for MI chemical waste management.Monitor MI process while running including attending to alarms and diagnosing issues for resolution or escalationInspect parts post process & monitor product variation for resolution or escalationSupport experimental designs to improve the processProgram equipment to adjust settings for new processesProvide support in the development and implementation of facility and equipment upgradesDocument process conditions, and changes or modifications during the MI process and maintain all documentation (electronic and paper) required for the MI processComply with AS9100 quality system including SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policiesMay perform other duties as assignedThis position is for 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.
Basic Qualifications:
High School DiplomaMust be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holderMust have proficient computer experience with MS OfficePreferred Qualifications:
AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experienceManufacturing backgroundPrevious aerospace or chemical industry experience is preferredExperience working within a formal quality system like ISO 9001 AS9100Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude and experienceWhat is my role type?

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is $28.00 to $42.00 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
