Comprehensive Compensation Package:

 

Pay Rate: $36-$43 per hour - depending on experience

Responsibilities

Job Description:

 

Assist with performing changeovers with minimal downtimeEnsure all products are running at standard production rate for assigned shiftUpdate, review and provide recommendations to plant Process Engineer for process sheet updatesDevelop, implement and execute programs to improve overall product quality and line efficiencies.Ability to operate and troubleshoot processes and equipment at an elevated level to resolve complex issues with supporting plant maintenance, automation, and tooling teamsTrain all levels of operators on proper operation of equipment.Verify operator level achievement for pay-for-skills advancementPartner with plant Training Coordinator to develop and conduct training programs for line operators and other process techniciansWork with plant Material & Shipping team to manage material consumption to pre-determined standards.Other duties as necessary to operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner Qualifications

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years relevant experience (or similar combination of education and experience).Experience in plastics processing, including forming and extrusion requiredExperience working with machineryUnderstanding of tooling, machining, material flow practices for extrusion and thermoformingStrong interpersonal skills to be able to train, communicate, and lead effectivelyAbility to work a 12 hours COP shift
