A leading consumer goods manufacturing company based in Saldanha, Western Cape. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Process Technologist to join our team and contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and implement efficient and effective manufacturing processes to improve product quality and production efficiency
– Monitor and analyze production operations to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction
– Conduct trials and experiments to test new processes and technologies
– Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives
– Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes
– Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure consistent execution of processes
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
– Strong technical skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes
– Experience with process design and optimization techniques
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
