McCain Foods is accepting applications for a Processing Lead Trainer position, to work a 12-hour night shift at the Burley, Idaho plant. The Lead Trainer will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our manufacturing processing personnel. This position requires a deep understanding of processing processes, machinery, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to create engaging and effective training modules.

 

Accountabilities:

Provides hands-on training sessions to ensure that employees can operate machinery safely and efficiently.Creates training plan as per training program requirements and communicates them to corresponding leadership and stakeholders.Monitors the performance of trainee and provide constructive feedback for improvement.Prepares trainee employees for certification and annual re-certification in their positions through the on-the-job and classroom training. Facilitates training sessions for new manufacturing processing employees to familiarize them with company processes, safety protocols, and processing procedures.Development, maintenance and continuous improvement of training outlines, documentation, SOP based training materials, data, tools, evaluation / assessment materials and processes.Coordination, monitoring, and assessment of all operator OJT (On-the-Job Training) occurring in their assigned area.   Develops training aids (troubleshooting tools) and tracks progress to ensure consistency and trainee/operator trainer commitment.Creates engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises.Meets trainer competencies to demonstrate good training practices and ensure effective training delivery.Supports and delivers trainings on various initiatives for example: GMP, safety and new hire orientation.May be required to work and/or training during plant shutdowns.Supports with continuous improvement programs such as MDI.Conducts safety trainings to include but not limited to powered industrial vehicles.Prepare reports on training metrics such as completion rate and feedback scores.Schedule and coordinate training, plus maintain records associated with training.

 

Qualifications:

Prefer a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Packaging Technology, Education) or equivalent work experience.Proven experience in manufacturing processing, with a strong understanding of fryer processes and machinery.Previous experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

 

Skills:

Demonstrate interpersonal skills and people skills during training engagements with all employees.Continuously meet qualifications of a good trainer by maintaining deep understanding of processing equipment and training methodologiesUnderstand the concepts and participate in the techniques of the quality process
