Tri Pointe Connect, the mortgage affiliate of Tri Pointe Homes, is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group in Arizona as a Processing Manager. Position Highlights: The loan processing team at Tri Pointe Connect works directly with loan consultants and homebuyers to facilitate the process of obtaining mortgage financing. The Processing Manager will lead a team of loan processors through all aspects of loan processing, including daily workload management, file prioritization, managing and decisioning escalations, and monitoring productivity and loan quality. The Processing Manager is responsible for ensuring loan processors perform their jobs with the highest level of customer service while ensuring loan productivity and quality metrics are continuously met. Position Responsibilities: Oversee day to day operations within processing team to ensure excellence in customer service, compliance with all policies procedures, and regulations, as well as productivity and quality standards are met Assist processors with questions about guidelines or documentation acceptability Monitor processes and efficiencies and work with Regional Processing Manager to identify key areas to improve productivity, loan quality, or customer experience Manage pipeline deadlines to ensure loans are submitted to critical milestones to meet purchase contract close of escrow dates Conduct 1:1’s, huddles, and departmental meetings to ensure consistent communication is provided to all team members Communicate verbally and electronically with internal and external parties applicable to the transaction including but not limited to loan consultants, builder representatives, real estate agents, homebuyers, title/escrow agents, homeowners insurance agents, and others Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures in addition to State and Federal requlatory requirements May be required to perform processor duties in times of need, including but not limited to reviewing file for completeness, reviewing documentation submitted by borrowers and third parties, ensuring documentation and data are complete and accurate, and submitting loans to underwriting Maintain updated communication logs as well as provide regular and accurate status reporting Working with Regional Processing Manager, responsible for all aspects of personnel management including hiring, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, salary recommendations, and termination Address all escalations within a timely manner, working with internal operations and sales team members and leadership to resolve internal and external concerns with respect to loan decisions or loan conditions Provide coaching and career development to processors seeking to expand their knowledge bank Respond to post-closing audit requests as well as assist with resolution for any closed loan files requiring additional documentation Assist with developing relevant training materials, checklists, or additional supplemental documents to help teach and train on various underwriting-related processes or guidelines As required, participate in special projects or assignments Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years mortgage experience, including 2 years management; purchase/builder experience preferred MS Office; including Outlook, Word, and Excel Encompass LOS experience preferred Position is expected to work in office located in Scottsdale, AZ Job Specific Core Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills Strong time management skills along with the ability to prioritize workload and escalations while maintaining department service level agreements Strong organizational skills Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA guidelines and AUS Ability to meet internal and external expectations when working under fast paced sometimes tight deadlines Sound judgment and decision-making abilities Strong regulatory knowledge, including ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, and other applicable federal or state-specific guidelines Ability to work cooperatively with sales associates on a daily basis Ability to resolve time-sensitive escalations in an urgent manner, ensuring processes are in place or implemented to mitigate future escalations Motivate team members to perform in times of high demand, ensuring loan quality and productivity are balanced Strong ability to effectively manage through times of growth and change At Tri Pointe Homes, we are intentional about fostering an environment where you, and all individuals, are encouraged to be their authentic selves.
