About the Job:

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Processing Operator based in City of Industry! 

 

Swing Shift is from 2:00PM- 10:30PM. Days off may vary. 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format and completed with all required informationEffectively tear down, set-up, monitor, operate, changeover and clean applicable equipment and provide quality inspections on all related items to include but not limited to OQI, weight checks, compliance with product specs, etc.Physically loading ingredients into blenders, scales, hand-trucks or tanksFollowing directions to properly add the correct ingredients to be able to create a new batchPasteurizing, homogenizing and operating all blending equipmentEffectively weighs and measures all ingredients before properly mixing themEnsuring that all unused ingredients are stored properly before the end of a shiftProcuring of daily ingredient usage from warehouse at beginning of workday

 

The base compensation range for this position is $29.33- $32.59 commensurate with experience. About You:

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)1 – 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required is acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      Knowledge:

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goodsKnowledge of SAP

 

Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and recipes   Ability to write simple correspondenceAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and/or small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizationAbility to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
