Job Description
As a Processor, you will be responsible for physically loading raw materials, operating machinery, maintaining logs, and ensuring the highest quality of finished products. You will prepare products according to established formulas and monitor production needs, perform quality checks, and manage daily deck setups. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds.
ResponsibilitiesPhysically load raw materials (spices, sugars, seasonings, etc.) into machinesKeep logs (paper and electronic) of materials fed into machinesOperate machines to ensure products run for the correct timePerform quality checks on products as they come out of the machines and are fed into containersMix finished products and maintain the highest qualityPrepare products according to established formulasMonitor production needs and perform deck setups for daily schedulesUse local control panels to control additions of all metered and manually added/weighed ingredients to mix and transfer batchesEssential SkillsExperience in food manufacturing and food processingProficiency as a processing machine operator and machine operatorKnowledge of GMP and HACCP standardsQuality control skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsRelated experience in food processing preferred but not requiredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures in EnglishPossess math skills needed to verify quantities of ingredientsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a fast-paced food processing environment where you will work with a team around constantly running machines. The area can be wet due to sanitation processes, and hearing protection is required due to the noise levels. The position follows a 2-2-3 rotating shift with openings currently available on B teams, operating from 4pm to 4am.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.81 - $22.81/hr.
