Job Description
We are looking for individuals to assist with proctoring students with disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1998, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments of 2008. Under general guidance and direction, you will monitor exams which may also require reading, writing, or typing for students with disabilities, while ensuring the integrity of exams during testing. Proctors are at-will part-time workers.
Responsibilities
+ Administer exams to students with disabilities, in accordance with the standards provided by the instructor.
+ Ensure the integrity of the exam.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to follow detailed instructions, rules, and regulations of exams.
+ Excellent communication skills: listening, oral, and written.
+ Previous customer service experience.
Work Environment
Shift 1 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Shift 2: 3:00 pm-11:00 pm
