Responsibilities

 

Hybrid position with 1 day a week in the Lake Forest office.  Possibility for fully remote. 

DESCRIPTION:

Support the Paper/Packaging and Data Analytics teams.Assist with bid analysis and make recommendations on award scenarios.     Provide spend analysis and insights that drive operational improvement and cost savings. Report on procurement key performance indicators (KPI’s). Maintain monthly/quarterly pricing for pulp and recovered fiber productsPlay an integral role in procurement data governance to help pave the way our organization works with data over the next 1-5 years. Create procurement roadmaps based on data driven business journeyCollaborate with category managers and leadership to develop standards for reporting on category information, including standard templates and data views. Maintain and assure data quality for internal use. Lead process improvement efforts to improve data quality and efficient execution. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or the equivalent in experience. 2-5 years of data analysis experience with an accounting/supply chain/business operations focus. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Tableau and/or Power BI experience helpfulExperience with managing large datasets and merging data from multiple databases. Expertise and familiarity with handling large datasets to analyze, draw conclusions and present viewpoints. Comfortable making recommendations around Ability to independently manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
