Procurement Analyst

Are you seeking a unique opportunity to join a successful Real Estate company? As AMLI Residential's new Procurement Analyst, you will provide transaction-level support to users of AMLI's electronic procure-to-pay system, Coupa.  You will identify issues, exceptions, and inefficiencies and lead prompts/support action required to address them. You will also be the go-to person for vendors.  The right candidate is a critical thinker who can proactively identify potential issues and collaborate well with various company departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Coupa OperationsMaintain procurement set-ups in Coupa: vendor onboarding, catalog changes, turn services, requisition approvals, and other related tasks.Monitor daily transactions in Coupa to identify issues, exceptions, and inefficiencies related to purchase orders and invoices.Coordinate with vendors, onsite staff, Accounts Payable, and others to resolve Coupa-related issues.Provide ongoing training to corporate and onsite users as needed.Continuous evaluation of processes to identify root cause issues and recommend solutions to improve Coupa operations.Vendor RelationshipsMaintain ongoing business relationships and act as AMLI liaison with contracted vendors.Review vendors to identify candidates to be added or removed from Coupa (i.e., use of catalogs, purchase orders, etc.). Review, maintain, and address aging reports from national vendors.GeneralServe as a backup for other members of the Procurement Department.Lead or assist with ad hoc projects needed.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Procurement, Information Systems, or a similar field. 1+ years of experience with Coupa or comparable procurement systems preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel for work on computer keyboard.  Employee must be able to talk and hear on the telephone.  The employee is required to sit for extended periods of time.    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment with interruptions and moderate noise level.
