Procurement Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in procurement, vendor development, category management, and spend analysis. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with project management tools like Monday.com. This position also involves managing compliance with vendors, contracts, and pricing, and overseeing quarterly supply chain management (SCM) fee collection. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal abilities to help plan internal events like workshops and supplier conferences, while effectively managing compliance and financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective sourcing. Category Management: Manage various spend categories, develop category strategies, and optimize sourcing efforts across multiple product lines. Spend Analysis: Conduct data-driven spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes. Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with vendor agreements, contracts, pricing, and legal obligations. Maintain updated records for all procurement-related contracts and regularly review terms. SCM Fee Collection: Oversee the quarterly collection of Supply Chain Management (SCM) fees from vendors. Track and chase payments, keep data up-to-date, and ensure accuracy in reporting and follow-up. Data Management: Utilize Excel for data analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support procurement decisions and strategies. Project Management: Use tools such as Monday.com to oversee procurement projects, track progress, and ensure deadlines and KPIs are met. Event Organization: Lead and assist in the planning and execution of internal events such as supplier conferences, workshops, and college engagement programs. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as operations, marketing, finance, and product development to align on business objectives and ensure smooth execution of procurement-related activities and events. Supplier Performance: Monitor and assess supplier performance through KPIs, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives. Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate supplier agreements, ensuring favorable terms, quality, and timely delivery of products. Risk Management: Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuous supply and minimize disruptions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the F&B sector. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and compliance. Proficiency in Excel (advanced level) and experience with project management tools such as Monday.com or similar. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally. Experience in event organization and logistics, particularly related to internal workshops and large-scale supplier conferences. Proven ability to manage compliance-related tasks, contracts, and vendor payments. Experience in SCM fee collection, payment tracking, and reporting. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in organizing and managing supplier events, conferences, or workshops. Familiarity with cost optimization and procurement strategy development. Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices in the F&B industry.
