GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Supply Chain Organization. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain procurement process to support our internal stakeholders and government customers. GDIT’s supply chain team is organized by commodity, meaning our teams strategically purchase the same types of products in order to grow their expertise. We have a software, cloud/Saas, End User Device/IT Hardware, Server/Storage, Non-IT Hardware, Corporate Services, and Consulting Services teams.
HOW AN PROCUREMENT ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurementsSourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement actionManagement of RFQ/RFPs from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and executionCompletion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.Ensures high internal customer satisfactionSupports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possibleWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree. In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience within government contracts and/or strategic procurement required.Required Experience: 2+ years’ experience in government contracts and/or strategic procurement. Experience with FAR/Government procurement and experience with end user devices.Required Skills and Abilities: Experience with terms and conditions/pricing negotiation. Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company. Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data. Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently. Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office SuiteLocation: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Chantilly, VA.
