Required Skills:

5+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement

Strong negotiation and vendor selection and management skills

Experience with price/cost analysis

Experience with full lifecycle end to end indirect procurement - identifying suppliers, RFI/RFP, vendor evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, and drafting scope of services

Strong communication and analytical skills

Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite , ideally excel

Self starter and able to own projects end to end

Desired Skills:

Ariba or similar procurement /sourcing software experience , specifically sourcing and contracts modules .

Contracts experience

BS Degree

CPM or CPSM certification

Supply Chain experience

Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Strategic Buyer for an initial 6 month contract with a large diversified client in South Florida. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience with strategic sourcing, procurement, and/or purchasing. In this role, you will analyze proposals and quotes and select or recommend suppliers. We're seeking a candidate with strong negotiation skills and the ability conduct supplier quality audits and address non-conformance issues of vendors. You will also supervise the preparation of orders, schedule orders, and follow up on delivery dates as well as draft scope of services.
