GDIT is seeking a Sourcing Associate to join our Classified/Restricted team as part of our Supply Chain organization. This Associate will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives. This team’s main responsibility is procuring IT Hardware, Software and Services for our Classified/Restricted Intel/Defense contracts.  

Duties include but are not limited to:

Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.  Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and executionCompletion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience2+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement2+ years’ experience managing and executing services agreementsLocation: Resource can be a hybrid employee ( the employee is required to meet a hybrid schedule at come into the office a minimum of 1 day per week )Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.Performs work on contracts that require U.S. citizenship
