Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Supply Chain Organization. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain procurement process to support our internal stakeholders and government customers. GDIT’s supply chain team is organized by commodity, meaning our teams strategically purchase the same types of products in order to grow their expertise. We have a software, cloud/Saas, End User Device/IT Hardware, Server/Storage, Non-IT Hardware, Corporate Services, and Consulting Services teams. We also have a group of dedicated buyers that support specific programs/requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.  Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and executionCompletion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.)Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience2+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurementExperience with terms and conditions/pricing negotiationLocation: Resource must be wiling to meet our hybrid schedule which requires employees to work from a GDIT office 1 day per weekExperience in written/oral communications at all levels of the companyAbility to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial dataAbility to make sound decisions and recommendationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficientlyAbility to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process

Performs work on contracts that require U.S. citizenship.
