As a Procurement Assistant at VillageCare, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Procurement Manager and Junior Buyer by providing essential administrative assistance for daily operations and the procurement process. Your responsibilities will include tracking orders, researching and onboarding new vendors, and aiding staff in various procurement tasks. You will be responsible for reaching out to vendors to gather pricing and information on new items, expediting late deliveries, and running vendor sanctions. Additionally, you'll communicate with requesters to obtain and update requisitions, engage with approvers to secure authorization for purchase order changes, and verify vendor references. This diverse array of duties will enable you to develop expertise in procurement while contributing to the seamless operation of our organization.\nAre you a good fit for this Procurement Assistant job?\n

To excel as a Procurement Assistant at VillageCare, you should possess a strong foundation in administrative support and a keen attention to detail. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with some college experience preferred to enhance your understanding of procurement processes.
