As a Procurement Automation Specialist (with German language) at Sappi Cracow CoPE, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services related to spare and admin parts for all Sappi’s production sites in Europe in the most efficient way. Taking end-to-end P2P care of assigned material groups/products or suppliers, considering life cycle cost and applying the principles of the category strategy.
Your key responsibilities:
Procurement Process Excellence& Continuous Improvement: Follow up on automated Purchase Orders to meet lead times as well as commercial targets. Process non-automated Purchase Requests into Purchase Orders. Purchase Order Optimization: Streamline and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery that meets quality standards, leveraging best commercial practices. Lead efforts to reduce manual workload in PR to PO conversion by optimizing SAP system capabilities. Standardize processes across the team to enhance efficiency, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and improve reliability. Commercial Procurement Contract Management: Prepare tenders and negotiate contracts in alignment with local buyers, ensuring agreements align with strategic procurement goals. Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness. Drive the preferred supplier and "cut-the-tail" strategies to strengthen supplier partnerships. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to co-create and implement optimal procurement strategies. Cost Analysis: Utilize procurement data to conduct in-depth cost analysis, identifying opportunities for cost-saving and process efficiency improvements.
Your qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field Proven track record of achieving objectives and delivering business results in procurement Fluency in English and German Experience in sourcing for production equipment or construction preferred Strong negotiation and communication skills SAP experiences, in SAP module Material Management [MM] in particular Proficient in MS Office, in MS Excel and MS Word in particular
