Procurement Business Analyst

Introduction to role:
Join us as a Procurement Business Analyst, a role that offers the opportunity to deliver small to medium size business change activities. This role requires high levels of interactive communication, demonstrating inclusion and cultural sensitivity. You will partner with Sr. Business Partners/Business Partners, taking ownership to deliver high quality cases, business process designs and ensure that proposed solutions meet established AstraZeneca quality and compliance standards and business solution needs.

 

Accountabilities:
As a Business Analyst, you will prioritize business requirements from multiple collaborators, interpret and simplify them for easy analysis, solution design and decision making. You will propose and deliver solutions to achieve agreed outcomes, ensuring that solutions fulfil their future strategic needs and challenges. You will also facilitate and lead design sessions with the business and implementation team to identify functional and technical requirements. Your role will involve planning and leading your own and other team member's activities to fulfill work requirements and meet deadlines.

 

Crucial Skills/Experience:
• Experience with Vendor Risk & Vendor Onboarding
• Experience with Ariba and/or Coupa platforms > 2 years
• Experience with Direct & Indirect Procurement platform/Processes > 2 years
• Working Understanding of Data Lake (Snowflake) and Reporting Capabilities
• Demonstrable experience of optimally deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
• Strong engagement, communication and partner leadership skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills 
• Experience of mentoring, coaching or developing others
• Discernment
• Challenge, negotiation and influence

 Desirable:

• Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field or formal certification in business analysis practice
• End to End Procurement Processes (S2C, P2P)
• Category Management Application Experience
• Practical usage of Agile Methodology
• Experience of working in a global organisation with sophisticated/geographical context
• Pharmaceutical business awareness/business domain knowledge
• Cross industry business awareness/business domain knowledge
• Experience of working with and running third party suppliers/vendors
• User Centred Design (User Experience, User Interface Design and Business Process Design)
