Reporting to a Managing Director, the Procurement Business Operations Manager is responsible for leading assigned procurement functional teams, managing day to day operations, staffing and developing teams, running optimization programs and developing Key Performance Indicators consistent with industry best practices and financial services industry third party risk regulatory guidance. The Procurement Business Operations Manager will be responsible for integrating functional processes across the broader procure to pay lifecycle including accounts payable, contract management, sourcing, and third-party risk management. This role has direct accountability for managing daily operations of one or more of the functional areas above and will ensure processes are built, maintained, and enhanced to meet business needs and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Procurement Business Operations Manager will develop and maintain appropriate policies, process, and procedures, as well as ensure compliance with other key programs across the Bank. **Key Responsibilities:** + Manage one or more procure to pay functional areas. + Manage direction, and thought leadership in the design, implementation, and execution of solutions. + Manage or support technology solutions, changes, and upgrades by providing leadership and direction in the implementation, integration, and delivery of the solutions used by the Procurement Operations of the Americas and Third-Party Risk Management organizations. + Responsible for directly supervising staff and building a high performing team and metric driven culture. + Manage third party vendors and/or outsourcing providers in accordance with relationship terms. + Accountable for governance, performance, and linkages with objectives. + Effectively influence stakeholders and business owners, facilitating the procurement processes/programs and compliance with Bank policy and practices. + Ensure procurement efforts and objectives, and spend management, fully support business objectives, as well as other Bank and regulatory requirements. + Own drafting, updating, management, and enforcement of all procurement policies and procedures. + Remain current on trends associated with industry best practices in procurement, procurement responsibilities and associated organizational design, and trends relating to insurance programs, system, and services. **Job Requirements:** + 5+ years leading teams and transformational program and process groups within procurement or accounting organizations. + 10+ years progressive experience in a procurement discipline; accounts payable, sourcing, contracting, etc. + Bachelor's degree in business administration/finance or equivalent business experience. + MBA preferred or other advanced process reengineering degree or certification such as re-engineering or Six Sigma certification. + Experience in designing, deploying, or managing procure-to-pay tools and technology. + Ability to manage staff and drive performance improvement across a team; strong teamwork, coaching, management, and collaboration skills. + Demonstrated innovation mind-set with strong process improvement skills. + Excellent eProcurement, eSourcing, procurement systems, and process improvement skills. + Excellent analytical skills, continuous improvement mind-set. + Excellent business/financial acumen with demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting, preferably in-house at a financial institution. + Ability to prioritize and work on multiple activities at one time. + Excellent written, excel & graphical, and oral communication skills with internal clients, external partners, and team members; strong influencing and relationship skills; polished interpersonal skills. The typical base pay range for this role is between $155K - $205K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
