Procurement Buyer

We are assisting a therapeutic company in their search for a Procurement Buyer. You will join a dynamic, intelligent, and driven Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, this position offers opportunities to explore various aspects of the Procurement function, thanks to the diverse range of work within the team. This role will be hybrid in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and processing purchase requisitions to ensure they align with organizational standards, including proper documentation, currency, and payment terms.Evaluating supplier contracts to confirm compliance with legal requirements while advocating for established policies and procedures regarding vendor engagement.Documenting and processing any modifications or changes to existing orders.Assisting in the collection and analysis of proposals or quotations for consumables, equipment, and services on behalf of stakeholders.Supporting internal teams with invoice resolution and the creation of purchase orders.Assessing and testing system enhancements for both new and existing platforms, contributing to implementation, rollout, and training to ensure successful adoption.Generating reports to track purchasing activity by category, goods receipts, and vendor spending.What You Will Bring:A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field preferred.3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Laboratory Consumables, Capital Equipment, IT, or Travel Categories.
