     As a Procurement Buyer II you will be responsible for ensuring the flow of raw materials from suppliers through the MRP process and its analysis, with support from material supply programs to meet production requirements in accordance with customer needs, operational goals, and inventory targets. Also responsible for maintaining the necessary information flow for internal and external customers, as well as prompt and expedited communication of situations that could impact the customer and operation.

Key ResponsibilitiesObtain raw materials in the correct quantity and at the due date according to the ERP system and exceptional priorities.  Maintain purchase orders. Participate in and formulate inventory reduction projects.Maintain close and constant communication with raw material suppliers.Expedite material with suppliers when contingencies and demand changes occur.Analyze requirements and shortages for the production process and communicate recovery plans where applicable.
