As a Procurement Category Manager, you'll research, evaluate, monitor and strategize procurement operations. You'll ensure technology hardware and software are delivered efficiently, meeting or exceeding agreed parameters, while also working to optimize costs and services delivered.

About the Role

Communicate and embody the culture and mission of the companyLead procurement activities for the acquisition of technology and software/servicesNegotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing, terms and maintain strong relationshipsMaintain effective communication with leadership regarding developments within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requestedDrive sourcing strategy (RFI/Q/P, reverse auction, or other sourcing techniques) and ensure alignment with business partner on strategyConduct market research and partner with innovative technology suppliersDevelop and execute holistic procurement strategy for leading category/business areaResponsible for negotiating commercial terms, including scope and service level agreements, and collaborating with Legal and Vendor Risk Management to leverage their expertise during vendor contract negotiationsEnsure contracts are renewed timely

About You

Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldIndirect Procurement ExperienceExperience with negotiating Technology Procurement Agreements3 years of management and administration experience
