A leading chemical hygiene company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Procurement Clerk to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
Ensure sufficient procurement of raw material, packaging and labeling to meet production needs Continuously evaluate quality of suppliers and raw materials Regular liaison with suppliers, building and maintaining relationship price negotiations and supplier evaluations throughout the year Ordering of all buyout items Quarterly analysis of imported perfume requirements, and procuring stock accordingly Every 2 months, place an order Oxone Oxone must be ordered quarterly or when required. (Ensure sufficient stock before next shipment arrives.) Attend to and resolve queries with suppliers on outstanding documentation, price queries, stock shortages etc. Procuring, managing and controlling of all PPE clothing Sourcing of new packaging and raw materials as and when requiredRequirements
At least 5 years working experience in a chemical manufacturing environment or similar industry, responsible for procurement or raw materials and buy out items, according to production plan Computer literate / knowledge of Navision / Syspro / Accpac and or other related ERP or MRP systems, is essential Excellent understanding of MS Office / and advance skills in ExcelBenefits
Salary: R350K/yr – R400K/yr, salary negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)
