Ensures delivery of high quality sourcing services to the Claims business unit Develops and align the sourcing strategy aligned with business needs Manages strategic supplier relationships and lead sourcing deals as required
Key Performance Areas
Handles a range of often standard accounts tasks resolving customer queries providing information and processing/reconciling data
Demonstrates knowledge of processes and procedures relevant to the function and takes a proactive role in improving efficiency
Contributes to driving through outputs on specific projects working to deliver added value
Coordinates and conducts assurance reviews of procurement operations
Manage customer relationships take accountability for delivery of sourcing services
Manage customer relationships take accountability for delivery of sourcing services and upload all pricing files onto electronic buying system
Shape the sourcing strategy for Building Plumbing Loss Adjustors Flooring and including other commodities Align to customer needs manage the initiative pipeline
Lead sourcing deals as required including stakeholder and project management deal architecture negotiation contract development
Own key supplier relationships relevant to the customer if applicable including issue resolution driving supplier performance and direction supporting the supplier governance process
Business Accountabilities
Identify research evaluate and select suppliers that meet the organization&rsquos standards of price quality timing and reliability of supply
Requirements
Degree or equivalent working experience
Recognized industry professional qualification preferred
Sourcing experience of leading large deals across most of the lifecycle from RFP transition & transformation contract & relationship management though to exit
People management experience of leading teams and departments of 10 people
Project program and change management experience of leading initiatives with project teams
Customer relationship management interfacing at the level of direct report to the CCO or business segment of COO
Experience in service management supplier or internal customer/ functional roles would be beneficial
