Job Description Logistics and Procurement Coordinator

Location: North East UK.
Salary: ~£29,000

Role Summary:

Our client is seeking a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to support the Operational Ship Management team. The role involves managing supply chains, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, reporting directly to the Logistics and Procurement Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier negotiations. Coordinate international shipments of equipment and spare parts. Ensure compliance with UK Public Sector Procurement rules. Maintain procurement and logistics records. Develop and manage supplier relationships. Requirements:
Experience in procurement/logistics, ideally in the marine sector. Knowledge of UK Public Sector Procurement and customs regulations. Strong organizational and communication skills. Desirable:
Experience with international freight operations. Familiarity with ship spares in transit.
