What this job involves:

About the role

You will be in charge of IFM SCM Business Assurance Function to ensure smooth functioning of the team and delivery of responsibility ranging from pricing for new business, transition of new accounts, process & policy, audits and MIS.

Supplier Relationship – Support initiatives and efforts to manage supplier relationships including administrative and operational activities and issues.

Bids for New Businesses – Along with Regional Procurement Managers  work closely with Business Development (BD) team to obtain and share the best pricing for the business solution recommended by them.

Transitions – Support Manager SCMP Transitions with the transition of New Accounts from a Procurement perspective and run the procurement transition program so that the right vendors are chosen for right jobs as per the SOW & SLA and the allocated budgets. Also identify and support procurement savings as per the savings targets/savings glide path.

Procurement Processes – Help and support the Head SCMP to create, map and promulgate Procurement processes.

Contract Management – Support Head SCMP to ensure that Master Services Agreements for Vendors with volume business; and Vendor Contracts on various accounts are finalised and documented.

Benchmarking – To help establish benchmarks; and publish for all regularly procured items and services on a half yearly basis.

Audits – Undertake audits of Accounts from an SCMP perspective in consultation with JLL Business Assurance team.

Responsible to support execution of the Procurement strategy for JLL Corporate and accounts.

Interact with vendors to understand their capabilities and basis the competency help them to align to JLL expectations. Also help them to win business and develop them towards becoming preferred partners/Strategic Alliance Partners.

Identify and evaluate new vendors who can meet the requirements of vendor delivered services at JLL Accounts.

Undertake detailed study of Client RFP’s along-with Regional Procurement Managers to identify gaps if any, for accurate pricing; and alignment of vendors / vendor staff.

Provide best commercial inputs for new bids being made by BD Team, basis established benchmarks/back up vendor quotes.

Help undertake RFP’s and RFQ’s to establish competitive benchmarks for various goods and services for IFM business.

On receipt of info on award of new business, study and understand the Client Contract, to align vendor delivered goods and services.

Identify and deploy suitable vendors for the goods and services to be delivered on new accounts/sites, post floating of RFP’s and negotiations.

Help ensure that the vendors and rates are in line with the expectation of savings glide path or any other commercial commitments. Further ensure required PO’s are issued and Contract process initiated for the services/goods.

Review procurement processes and suggest amendments if any and help promulgate the same to the IFM community.

Ensure proper communications with Account/site teams.

Identify opportunities to consolidate supplier base wherever possible to leverage on volume economies.

Demonstrate continuous effort to improve procurement operations, decrease turnaround time and streamline work processes.

Ensure compliance to JLL standard processes and procedures.

Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations.

Understanding and managing people dynamics is core to your role. You must have a keen eye for detail and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

You will have a Graduate\Post Graduate (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering  will be an advantage)

Degree \ Diploma in SCM or logistics preferred

Degree /PG in Management. Preferred

Purchasing experience required - 6 to 8 Years

Knowledge of ERP like SAP / Oracle, JD Edward would be a plus

Organisation skills, Strong Analytical Ability required.

Fluent in English – written & spoken;

Good knowledge of suppliers, market trends, bidding process & negotiation 

Excellent Inter-personal and communication skills

Excellent PC skills – Advance MS office

Strong negotiation skills
