Volt is immediately hiring for a Procurement Field Representative-Supply Base Mgmt in Everett/Renton, WA

Position Type: Full Time(Contract)

Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension

\r\n\r\n

Locations: Everett/Renton, WA-Hybrid, 2 days a week onsite

\r\n\r\n

As a Procurement Field Representative, you will:

\r\n\r\n

Position Responsibilities:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\tManages work movement projects between suppliers and supplier facility moves. Leads efforts to establish executable plans, ensure performance to plan, mitigate risk and resolve supply chain issues (technical or non-technical) associated with work movement, partnering with key suppliers and Supply Chain partners to drive quality and on-time parts delivery.\r\n\t\t\t\tCommunicates across functions (e.g. procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field operations, quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns. Co-facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements. Participates in on-site supplier visits (e.g. Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement and support Company procurement strategy. Monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and provides status back to supervisor and procurement agent.\r\n\t\t\t\tEngages suppliers and provides technical assistance in areas such as manufacturing, planning, and requirements interpretation to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity. Monitors metrics and manages work movements through a gated process and ensures process compliance. Assists suppliers in developing plans and monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n

Required Skills & Experience:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\r\n\t3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors or managing a factory to deliver products and services\r\n\t3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action\r\n\t3+ years of experience in a role that required Scheduling, Project / Factory Management skills\r\n\t5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes\r\n\tSoftware skills required: General Microsoft office.\r\n\tProject Management Certification preferred.\r\n\tBachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

Pay Range: $50-$55 per hour, depending on experience

\r\n\r\n
