The Procurement Generalist reports directly to the Director of Procurement. This position will work closely with the restaurant operations team including Kitchen Ops Managers, District Managers and Restaurant-level managers as well as other members of Procurement.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Procurement Generalist is responsible for maintaining information such as product and pricing for food & non-food items, beer, wine & liquor, office supplies and smallware's on various system platforms. This position assists stores to resolve their individual issues such as order status, pricing discrepancies, product returns & credits and any other need that arises. The Procurement Generalist must build strong working relationships with suppliers & distributors. They will manage documents, agreements and store licensing or other paperwork as needed for our growing operations. The Procurement Generalist will identify opportunities and lead or support various procurement projects and must be able to think strategically and use data to analyze results, trends and forecasts.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement operating improvements
Commodity market tracking and other commodity risk management responsibilities
Full understanding of product pricing elements
Ability to understand and excel in various systems, including but not limited to CrunchTime.
Chosen system expertise and resolution in product bids, product implementation, invoicing & pricing, beer, wine & liquor, contract pricing, product credits, smallware's, and TOC support
Distributor and restaurant location support (e.g. out of stocks, requests, delivery issues & returns, product quality, AP inquiries, document and agreement support, LTO ordering & support, office supplies, smallware’s, etc.)
Identify cost savings opportunities with impact analysis
Support office supply & product ordering and Pepsi orders for breakroom
Effective communicator with the ability to simply and concisely communicate complex ideas at various levels of an organization.
Experience working in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment

BA or BS degree in a relevant field
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
