The opportunity: your role at Driven Brands
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Indirect Procurement & Fleet Operations Intern to support our procurement team in managing strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect products and services, as well as running our fleet program operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement, supplier management, contract analysis, and the day-to-day operational management of our fleet program. You will work directly with the Senior Sourcing Analyst, gaining exposure to real-world challenges, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to initiatives that drive cost savings and operational efficiency.

Fleet Program Operations Support
Daily Operations: Assist in the day-to-day management of our fleet program, ensuring smooth operations from vehicle ordering to delivery and maintenance scheduling.Process Coordination: Collaborate with fleet management partners and service providers to coordinate vehicle usage, maintenance, and compliance with operational standards.Performance Monitoring: Track key fleet performance metrics such as vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and operational costs; help identify areas for process improvement and cost efficiency.Operational Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards on fleet performance to inform strategic decision-making and operational adjustments.Indirect Sourcing & Procurement
Project Support: Assist in sourcing initiatives for indirect products and services by conducting supplier research, bid analysis, and contract reviews.Supplier Evaluation: Support the evaluation of supplier proposals and the gathering of competitive intelligence to help secure optimal terms.Data Management: Maintain procurement databases, update supplier records, and ensure accurate tracking of contracts and procurement activities.Communication: Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and follow-ups during the procurement process.Data Analysis & Reporting
Data Insights: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and opportunities for cost savings across both fleet operations and indirect sourcing.Reporting: Assist in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations that highlight sourcing performance, fleet operational metrics, and supplier negotiations.Tool Development: Contribute to the development of dashboards and tracking tools that enhance visibility into procurement KPIs and operational effectiveness.Qualifications:
Junior or Senior, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel or data visualization tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.A keen interest in procurement, fleet operations, and data-driven decision-making.Must be in Charlotte, NC or surrounding areas to come in office with a hybrid schedule.What’s in it for you:
