Job Description

Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.

Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.

Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.

Aid in further enhancing department tools, templates and methodologies

Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities

Develop positive professional relationships across departments

Complete special projects as assigned by your manager

Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase the completion of learning objectives

Support the purchasing of commodities for chains and independent customers, primarily fresh meat

Work with the teams to fulfill current demands and forecast for seasonal fluctuations

Support the procurement team in Fall 2025 Holiday planning and Fall 2025 Selling Shows.

Review contracts, service level agreements, and pricing manuals to maintain standards

Utilize internal tools and the USDA website to perform tasks and research

Full-time, 12-week internship from May to August

Location: North Hatfield, MA

Hybrid schedule

We’re searching for interns that are:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university 

In good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or better

Senior standing at the time of the internship

Currently majoring in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or Food Science

Proficient with Google’s suite of products

Proficient with Excel 

Strong communicator, both written and verbal

Able to think outside of the box and solve problems

Able to work both with a team and be independently successfully

Able to stay organized and pay close attention to detail
