In our Dalian factory we produce leading products and systems like flow meters, valve positioner, gas analyzer and level/ pressure/ temperature sensors.

What is expected?

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual to lead our Dalian SSCL procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives, ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement processes, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners.

You'll make an impact by

·       Leading the Procurement function at the factory Dalian with a team of 7 direct reports.

·       Challenging the status quo and close collaboration with the x-functional partners onsite and the Business Lines, striving for the global PA Optimum

·       Developing and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies that support the company's long-term goals and financial objectives in alignment with superior strategies of the Business Unit/Operating Company.

·       Leading the identification and implementation of productivity initiatives, negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, and managing the procurement budget.

·       Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high levels of service, quality, and delivery performance.

·       Identifying and mitigating procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and market volatility.

·       Accelerating direct sourcing and localization activities to leverage local market potentials.

·       Driving x-functional aligned material field strategies implemented by supplier selections, evaluations and performance management with the aim to increase resilience in the supply chain.

·       Overseeing the development, negotiation, and execution of contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

·       Streamlining procurement processes, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

·       Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. A good team spirit is the key to a successful value contribution and to the business success of DI PA.

·       Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.

Your defining qualities

·       Bachelor's and above degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar qualification; master's degree preferred.

·       Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic procurement in different roles including at least one leadership role.

·       You demonstrate a real leadership characterized by strong communication skills, building network & relationships, open-minded, challenging status-quo and defining the framework for the future oriented development

·       Strong negotiation skills, ability to manage complex contracts and consistent track record of developing/executing strategic procurement plans.

·       You build successful teams through leadership and coaching - people development and diversity are your passion. You take your team with you through empowerment and leading by example.

·       High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practice

·       You demonstrate agility in your thinking, a growth mindset, and a personal lifelong learning mentality.
